For this method of resist dyeing I used beeswax and a hand dyeing technique for the tapestry and curtains. The curtains were inspired by the painting "Three Graces: Les Trois Femmes Noires" by Mickalene Thomas at NCMA. I focused on the stained glass look she represented with the angular lines and also incorporated rhinestones. For the tapestry I created an original design and hand painted the wax and dye on multiple layers.
